Mark your calendars for the “Evening of Beauty and Bliss & Scrooges Night Out” event on December 10th from 6-9pm at the Omar Shrine in Mt. Pleasant. The night will include shopping from local vendors, dining, cocktails, gift-wrapping services, specials, door prizes, a silent auction, and live Jazz music. On Thursday, June 4th Body, Mind & Spirit for Dogs and Their People will be held at Fetch Doggy Day Care in West Ashley from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. This great fundraiser is being organized by Wild Heir Lab Rescue to raise funds for a two year old Lab, Callie. She was recently diagnosed with hip dysplasia in both legs and the proceeds for this event will go towards her surgery.

The Palmettovore Challenge is designed to challenge residents to eat locally and purchase your fruits and vegetables from SC Certified Growers. The 6th Annual Charleston Dog Show 2009

Come join us and our friends from the Wild Heir Labrador Rescue at our booth at the 2009 Charleston Dog Show. The Dog Show will be held May 2, 2009 in Marion Square in Charleston, SC. The fair is from 8:30 – 3pm and admission is free. All of the proceeds will benefit th eLowcountry Lab Rescue, the Low Country Golden Retriever Rescue, the Greyhound Pets of America – Charleston and the Middleton Place Hounds.

In addition to friendly canine competition, there will be a dog vendor village, silent auction, pet portrait artists’ corner, microchipping clinic, educational exhibits highlighting area Dog Rescue groups, Canine Good Citizen (CGC) testing, Agility Course, gourmet lunch boxes, children’s PB&J stand, canine concessions and much more! Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show

We are pleased to announce Pawmetto Pet Treats will be joining the South Carolina Specialty Food Association at the Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show April 18 and 19th in Atlanta, Georgia. The event includes cooking demonstrations by Food Network celebrity chefs including Paula Deen, Guy Fieri, Tyler Florence and the Neely’s. We had a great time at the 2009 Pet Fest held March 28 and 29, 2009 in Palmetto Island County Park in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. Sharing space with our good friends at the Wild Heir Labrador Rescue we were able to meet new friends and share more than 200 samples of our delicious pet treats.
